Clyde Miller Garner

Clyde Miller Garner, 79 formerly of Naylor passed away in the Westwood Hills Health Care Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri September 10, 2011. He was born September 3, 1932 in McNary county, Tennessee to the late Oscar Garner and Annie Mae Green Garner. On April 16, 1955 at Corinth, Mississippi He was married to Geneva Crumbly. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2011. He is survived by, His children Clem Garner of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Donnie Garner of Boonville, Miss., Tim Garner of Naylor, Mo. and Shawn Garner of Naylor as well as one daughter Vicki Smith of Naylor, Mo. Clyde also has fifteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren surviving. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, as well as a daughter, Debbie McConnaughay. One sisiter Demetra Loggins and one brother David Garner. Clyde enjoyed gardening, being with family and watching westerns. He had worked as a truck driver for Blackman Oil Company and Watson Oil. Visitation for Mr. Garner will Tuesday September 13, 2011 starting at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following services at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri.
