Cora Russell

Cora Lee Russell, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at Westwood Hills Health Care. Mrs. Russell was born May 17, 1925 in Geneseo, Kansas, to the late Nicholas and Beulah (Nicholson) Campbell. A homemaker, she enjoyed being around people and crossword puzzles. She attended Kerns Chapel Church in Stringtown, Mo. She was married to Hadley A. Russell in 1952 and he preceded her in death July 30, 1992. Mrs. Russell is survived by three sons, Roger Russell , Roy Cash and Larry Cash; two sisters, Virginia Ward and Cleo Crofford; 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death include a brother, Ralph Campbell and several half-brothers. A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Kerns Chapel Church, in Stringtown, Mo. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. in charge of arrangements.
