Coy Lee Jackson

Coy Lee Jackson, 61, of Wappapello, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Ron Fowler officiating. Mr. Jackson was born December 12, 1950 in Cairo, IL He was of the baptist faith. He was a member of the VFW Post 3416 in Wappapello. Had served in the US Navy during Vietnam War. He was retired from Army Corps of Engineers. He liked caring for animals, meat shoots and being with family and friends. On April 11, 2005 he married Louise Karnes Jackson in Gatlinburg, TN She survives. Also surviving are children; Lisa Schreckenburg of Lepold, MO; Stephen Jackson of Jackson, MO, Michael Karnes of Bourbonnais, IL, Kenneth Karnes of Benton, IL and Nathaniel Karnes of Benton, IL A sister; Lana Neal of Illinois and seven grandchildren.
