Curtis "Phil" Woods, 63, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Woods was born May 19, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Wayne and Eva (Duckett) Woods. He served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for WW Wood Products. He enjoyed playing music and chess with his friends and being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Whitney Allstun and husband, Aaron; one brother, Rodney Woods; three grandchildren, Mia Osgood and Noah and Brody Allstun, as well as a lifelong friend, Claudean Bryeans and her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Paul White will officiate. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Ellsinore, Mo.
