Daisy May Handschumacher

Daisy May Handschumacher, 62, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on May 20, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Daisy was born on September 20, 1959, to Harlan and Rosemary Powell in Springfield, Illinois.  She married Bob Handschumacher on December 23,1995; he survives. Daisy is also survived by adoptive parents, Jean and Arvell Banthrall, son, Dillon Curry, daughter, Cicely Champagne, daughter, Sierra Handschumacher, daughter in law, Tika Handschumacher, grandson, Dean, unborn grandson, Willie, brother, Bobby Jackson, sister, Sherry Credille, brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Roxanne Teters, brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Renee Banthrall, brother-in-law, Don Collins and wife Odessa, brother-in-law, Chris Collins. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents. Daisy enjoyed watching soap operas, going to yard sales, fishing, and enjoyed biscuits with chocolate gravy.  She will be missed by all her family and the multitude of friends.

A memorial service will take place Friday, May 27, 2022, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, at 10:30 am.  Rev. Terra Downey to officiate.
