David "Dave" Clayton

David Franklin Clayton, 87, of Doniphan, Missouri passed away November 21, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born January 22, 1927 at Gatewood, Missouri to the late John Newton Clayton Sr. and Cleo Brown Clayton. On December 26, 1964 at St. Louis, Missouri He was married to Lois M Koons. She survives. He was preceded in death by two children, his parents and three brothers, Joe Clayton, John Clayton Jr., and Martin Clayton. Dave had served in the United States Army during WWII in the Calvary. He had received the victory medal, and had been a commercial truck driver. Visitation for Mr. Clayton will be Tuesday November 25, 2014 starting at 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri. A graveside will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Fairdealing Cemetery. Donnie Fowler officiating.
