Deborah Hicks

Deborah Charline Hicks, 72, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on May 11, 2022, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Deborah was born on August 9, 1949, to the late Charlie and Ona (Spangler) Whittenburg in Poplar Bluff.  She married Donald Gene Hicks on April 5 ,1965. Deborah worked at Kinyon School from October 1981 to 2000, then at Eugene Field from 2000 to 2009.  She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church but was currently attending Fellowship General Baptist Church. Deborah is survived by her husband, Donald Gene Hicks her daughters:  Christina Fiske (Tom) Donna Winder, Lisa Roberts (Dave), six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister Patsy Harlan Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ona Whittenburg George, a brother Charles Eugene Whittenburg. Visitation will be held from 11am till 12 pm on Monday May16, 2022 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Monday May 16, 2022, at 12 pm in the Funeral Home chapel. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
