Delores Arbuckle

Delores Lee Arbuckle, age 72, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away at her home on Monday, March 11, 2013. She was born February 5, 1941 in Champaign, Ill., and had resided in Poplar Bluff for the last 28 years. On October 10, 1970, she married LeRoy Arbuckle. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2011. She was a nurse and enjoyed sewing. She is survived by five children, Wilma Palmer, James Potter, Roger Potter, Michael Arbuckle and Shannon Arbuckle; a sister, Janie Abbot; and brothers, Donny Matthews and Tony Matthews; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her parents Carl and Lois (Jones) Mathews also precede her in death. Visitation will be held at noon, Monday, March 18, 2013, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Mo.
