Dianna Sue Nations, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Westwood Hills Healthcare.
Mrs. Nations was born May 2, 1946, in Corning, Ar., to the late Herman and Lola Mae Goodman.
She was a member of Fellowship General Baptist Church in Coon Island.
Mrs. Nations was a cook at many local restaurants. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and watching hummingbirds.
On September 29, 1978 she married Paul Nations in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Also surviving are children, Carolyn Cowin, Geoff Anderson, Wesley Nations, all of Poplar Bluff; step-daughter, Teresa Champ of Morgantown, West Virginia, and step-son, Clifford Paul Nations of Parkersburg West Virginia; sisters, Linda Kay Brewer of Barnhart, Mo. and Peggy Joyce Davis and one brother, Gene Goodman , both of Corning, Ar.; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and special friends, Walter and Sandy Anderson.
Mrs. Nations was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Thelma Louise McGowen.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m., with the Rev. Allen Leutert and Gene McElhaney officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
