Donald M. Jones

Donald M. Jones, 66, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away December 1, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Jones was born October 16, 1949, in Coon Island, to the late Clarence Jones and Della Sims-Jones. Mr. Jones had been a truck driver all his life and he enjoyed drawing cartoons. On February 18, 1996 he married Laurel "Bobbi" Jones in Poplar Bluff. She survives. Also surviving are children, Rebecca, Donny, J J, Erica, Kelsey, Kirsten and several step-children; four sisters, Tina Sadler-Stark, Geraldine Griffith, Midge Hamlet, and Freda Johnson; one brother, Jackson Jones; as well as several grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings. A MEMORIAL service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 2 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, with Ron Fowler officiating. His cremains will be buried privately, at Kinsey Cemetery in Harviell Mo.
