Donald Ray Malpass

Donald "Ray" Malpass, son of the late Emry Malpass and Edna Malpass-Spratley, was born on February 3, 1953 in Raleigh, North Carolina and departed this life on Monday September 24, 2018 at his residence in Poplar Bluff, MO at the age of 65. Mr. Malpass was a Route Courier for the Poplar Bluff Daily American Republic for the last 10 years. He was a member of the Poplar Bluff, Jaycee’s and attended church at Calvary Baptist. He enjoyed spending time working on cars, riding motorcycles and building boat trailers. Mr. Malpass is survived by 6 children. Christine Laswell and her husband Kenneth of Florida. Jack Evans of Missouri, Connie Evans of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Gerald Evans of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Donald Malpass-Fenton Jr. of Texas and Brian Malpass-Fenton of Texas; by 6 grandchildren, Chriscella Mariscal and Cora Amado both of Perryton, Texas, Cecelia Meyer and Mark Hicks Jr. both of Poplar, Bluff, Missouri, Kenny Laswell and Candice Wideman both of St. Louis, Missouri; and by many grandchildren; Emmali, Gabriella, and Annali Mariscal, Isabella, Nevaeh and Ximena Amado, Natalie Meyer, Chase Hicks, Alexis, Bratonya and Haley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his only sister, Kimberly Crowell, only brother, Michael Malpass. One son, Stephen Thacker, his Grandmother, and many Aunts and Uncles. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Monday October 1, 2018 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, MO
