Doris Stubbs

Doris J. Stubbs, 67, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on November 04, 2025, at her home in Rogersville, Missouri.

Doris was born on November 23, 1957, to Norman and Goldie (Ward) Arnold in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Donald Stubbs on April 29, 2005.

Doris enjoyed planning and cooking at family gatherings, she enjoyed road trips, she had a very strong faith in Jesus, she also enjoyed her jewelry, and gambling, she was known as the block mom, she wasn't afraid to tell you how the cow ate the cabbage.

Doris is survived by Sister Kay Evans (Tom) sister Brenda Evans, sister Teresa Arnold (Rick), Brother Steven Arnold (Hope), brother Mike Arnold. Children, Christina Wells (Kevin) Bubby Evans, Special friend, (Jo), Pamela Demos (Nick), Matthew Evans (Ruby). 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and numerous other children who called her mom and friend.

Doris was preceded in death by Husband, Donald Stubbs, Brother Jerry (Dago) Arnold, sister Norma Pudgie Arnold, brother John (Dale) Arnold, brother Francis (Wayne O) Arnold, brother Mark Arnold, brother Bobby Arnold, her mother Goldie Arnold and her dad Norman Arnold.

Visitation will be on 11-12-2025 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home at 11:00am. With a service to fallow at 12:00, the location address is 701vine street Poplar Bluff MO 63901.

The committal service will be at The Qulin Cemetery at 1:30pm.
