Dorothy Baechler

Dorothy A. Baechler, 85, passed away August 29, 2010 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Living Word Baptist Church, 456 Township Line Road, Poplar Bluff, Mo. with Pastor Donnie Emmons officiating. Burial in the Mo. State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. She was born March 16, 1925 in Highland Park, Illinois. She was a retired Bank Officer. She loved playing cards and was an avid bridge player. She was married Clarence Baechler in March 1948 in Highland Park, Ill. He preceded her in death in August 1984. She is survived by one son Curtis Baechler of Poplar Bluff , one brother Ward Anderson of Stockdale, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
