Dorothy Fay (Lake) Hogan, 76, of Doniphan, Mo., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Ar.
Dorothy was born on Jan. 9, 1941 in Lone Hill, Mo. She was a retired supervisor from Emerson Electric and enjoyed gardening, her animals, humming birds and cardinal birds. She was of the Baptist faith.
On Aug. 12, 1956 she married John Henry Hogan in Stringtown. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Sandra Hogan of Neelyville, Mo., Debra Lindsey (Ray) of Doniphan, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, John Freant (Rhonda) of French Village, Mo, Milton Freant III of Festus, Mo., Garrett Freant of Neelyville, Mo., Amanda Freant of Farmington, Mo., Melissa McCarthy of Harviell, Mo., Abranda Rogers (Greg) of Patton, Mo., Lance McCarthy Jr. (Tiara) of Potosi, Mo., Dustin Lindsey of Hillsboro, Mo., Asa Lindsey (Patricia) of Dittmer, Mo., and Katie Lindsey of Doniphan, Mo.; as well as 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her parents, William C. Lake and Glenrose (Emerson) Lake; 1 sister Virginia Faries; 3 brothers, William C. Lake, Charles Lee Lake, and Jackie D. Lake.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 from 6:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will be on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bruce. Burial will be at Kinsey Cemetery in Harviell, mo.
