Dorothy "Stout" Moore

Dorothy Elizabeth "Stout" Moore 92, Of Poplar Bluff, departed this life June 5, 2018 at The Manor. She was born on February 16, 1926 in Poplar Bluff to the late David and Sarah Gower. She was a seamstress at Myatt's Drapery and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. She was a member at Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center. She married Wilborn Stout; and he preceded her in death July 12, 1990. She married Arnold Moore; September 9, 1996. He preceded her in death May 21, 2013. She is survived by 3 children; Darrell Stout and wife Karen, Valerie Kiefer and husband Dan, Sheila Smith and husband Cevis. 19 grandchildren, and numerous great, great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Larmie,two sons David Stout and Nathan Stout. Two sisters; Mary Hornbeck, and Rosetta Stucker. 3 brothers; James Henson, DJ Gower, and Albert Gower. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center. Funeral service will be at 11.00 A.m Friday June 8, at Bluff City Apostolic Center 200 Walnut St in Poplar Bluff. Pastor Jerry Williams will be officiating and Rev. Ted Elledge will be assisting. Burial will be in Kinsey Cemetery.
