Edna Mae Baker

Edna Mae Baker, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at The Cedargate in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Baker was born September 19, 1942, in Tulsa Ok., to the late Jim and Amanda Bennett. She had worked as a nurses' aide at Oakdale Caring Center. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed going to church. Survivors include one sister, Ellen Bash of Tulsa Ok., and brother, Larry Bennett of Sandsprings Ok.; and one grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Baker; 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Visitation will held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Marble Hill Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, with Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating.
