Edna Mae (Moore) Walker,age 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday April 5, 2013, at the Oak Dale Care Center.
Mrs. Walker was born October 24, 1917 in Oxly, Missouri, to the late Floyd and Rosie (Sheridan) Moore. A former resident of Doniphan, Mo., she had lived in Poplar Bluff for 14 years. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, flowers and quilting.
On July 6, 1933, she married Fred Walker at Oxly, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1976.
Survivors include her children, Ethel Gillespie (Glen), of Cold Water, Mo., Bonnie Burns of Poplar Bluff, Bob Walker (Mayjean) of Belknap, Ill., Don Walker (Naomi) of Monet, Mo. Patricia Bickford (Archie) of Poplar Bluff, Bill Walker (Kathy) of St. James, Mo., Linda Snodgrass, Cape Girardeau, Fred Walker (Sabrina), Apache Junction, Az., Brenda Stenger of Poplar Bluff and John Walker (Beverly) of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Anna Bell (Billy) Vick and Rose Mary Fisher of Trinity, Tx.; 27 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by one son, Jim Walker; and several brothers and sisters.
Services for Mrs. Walker will be Sunday April 7, 2013, with visitation beginning at 12 noon, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street in Poplar Bluff, with Pastor Marvin Creelman officiating. Burial will be in Gum Cemetery, near Naylor.
