NEELYVILLE, Mo. - Edward "Ray" Blagg, 64, of Corning, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Blagg was born July 16, 1952 in Coon Island, Mo. He was an U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. His hobbies are restoring old motorcycles, trucks, reading and watching T.V. He enjoyed his grandchildren, looking at old cars and computers and riding motorcycles.
On July 20, 1989, He married Anita Croley at Grand Junction, Colo. She survives.
Other survivors are three children, Sarah Byrd of Walnut Ridge, Ark., James Blagg of Paragould, Ark., and Joshua Blagg of Corning, Ark.; two sisters, Audrey Adams of Naylor and Viola Smith of Fairview Heights, Ill.; one brother, James L."Buddy" Blagg of Corning, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ellen Blagg; his parents, Clarence D. Blagg and Mary Ellen Kent Blagg; four brothers, John W. Blagg, Authur L. Blagg, Ivan E. Blagg and Georgie Blagg.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville followed by the memorial service which will begin at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Gary Blagg will officiate
