Edward "Big Ed" Young

Edward 'Big Ed' Young , 69, of Poplar Bluff, passed away January 24, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thurs at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, MO A graveside funeral will be at 11 AM Friday at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. Bobby Jack Burns officiating. Big Ed was born March 11, 1941 in Flat River, MO to the late Marion Young and Violet Reese-Young. He had worked many years for the Poplar Bluff Auto Auction. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, Clint Eastwood movies and playing video games. On February 2, 1997 he was married to Lavella Huggins-Young in Poplar Bluff and she survives. He was previously married to Eva West and she preceded him in death. Surviving are one daughter; Vicky Limpert of Poplar Bluff and fourteen step-children; Tina Angelly, Kimberly Anspach, Brian Lamb, Deborah Whitlock, David Smith, Alvin Francis, Ralph Morris all of Poplar Bluff. Rosa Fairman, Daniel Morris, Anita Potts of Oklahoma, Donna Lenz of Doniphan; Sheila Law and Andrea Githera of Paragould and Rita Williams of Dexter. Two full grandchildren and numerous others. Also surviving are many great grandchildren.
