Edward Lee James, 66, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center June 4, 2017. He was born July 11, 1950, in Corning, Arkansas to the late Everett James and Eva Brooks James. on July 28, 2001 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri he was married to Freda Joyce cox. she survives. Also surviving are his children; Nicole Moore and husband Joshua of Galesburg, Illinois, Jennifer Radford and husband Steven of Harviell, Missouri, sstep children; Larry Payne and Cheryl of Ellsinore, Mo, Lori Kovach and Victor of Neelyville, Missouri and Ronnie Wills of Wappapello, Missouri. Sisters; Sherry Preslar, , Derinda Sheppard both of Harviell, Missouri Vickie Gardner of Neelyville, Missouri, Bennetta Phillips of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Carol Ann Crown of Rockford, Illinois, Jeanie DiGuiseppi of Winnebago, Illinois and Linda Sue Harmon. Brothers William Yandell, Rick Yandell and Jimmy Yandell all of Corning, Arkansas, Tim James, Jim James both of Rockford, Illinois,. Jack Yandell, of Naylor, Missouri and Jeff Peters of Houston, Texas and Danny Peters of Rockford, Illinois. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his first wife Mary James. He had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era he enjoyed Pipes, trains and custom cars. Visitation for Mr. James will be Monday June 12, 2017 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc. of Neelyville, Missouri, starting at 2:oo p.m. until funeral service time at 3:00 p.m.. Burial will be in the Brooks Cemetery following service.
