Ellen A. Tinsley

Ellen A. Tinsley, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Tinsley was born October 29, 1940. She was of the Baptist faith. A homemaker, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and going to yard sales. On March 13, 1957 she married Bob Tinsley. He preceded her in death December 6, 2008. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Ray Tinsley and Earl Lee Tinsley; 7 grandchildren, Brett, Eric, Lucas, Virginia, Jessy, Bobby, and Chris Tinsley; as well as 10 great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her father, Matt Lewis and Geneva (Blazer) Lewis; and two sons, Terry Gene Tinsley and Leonard Foy Tinsley. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Cochran Cemetery with Ray Lewis officiating. She will be laid to rest in Cochran Cemetery.
