Elmer Willcut Jr., 82 , of Aurora, Missouri, passed away April 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1929 at Kennett, Missouri to the late Elmer Willcut Sr. and Myrtle Hucklebee Willcut.
On December 4, 1958, at Kennett, Missouri he was married to Judy Frye. She survives.
Also surviving one son Kenny Willcut and wife, Roberta of Aurora, Missouri, one daughter Lee Ann Clayton and husband, James of Nixa, Missouri. Three brothers Earl Willcut of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Gerald Willcut of Brosely, Missouri and Eldon Willcut of Poplar Bluff , Missouri. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Jimmy Dale Willcut and three sisters, as well as 5 brothers.
He attended Verona Christian Fellowship Church in Vernona, Missouri. He worked for the city of Poplar Bluff water department, repairing water meters. He enjoyed sports, basketball, enjoyed chickens and yard work, as well as gardening. He served in the United States Army.
Visitation for Mr. Willcut will begin Friday April 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., with the funeral Saturday, starting at 11:00 am in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery at Harviell following the service. Donnie Fowler officiating
