Emma Lou Purdy

Emma Lou Purdy, 87, of Oxly, Mo. died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at Current River Nursing Center. Mrs. Purdy was born Oct. 29, 1928 in Yuma, Az. She worked as a home health caregiver who enjoyed sewing, gardening, deck work, and the race track. In 1959 Emma married Richard Purdy in Alamogordo, NM. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lou Foster and Ethal Graiq. Mrs. Purdy is survived by her daughter, Dee McKeever, of Norwood, Co., and two grandchildren Patrick J. McKeever and Ryan McKeever No services will be scheduled.
