Eric Steward

Eric P Steward of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away at the age of 62 on September 01, 2026 at his home in Potosi, Missouri.

Eric was born on March 15, 1964 to Steven and Nina L Steward in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Eric enjoyed working on the family farm, he enjoyed his time serving our country in the army, he was an avid deer hunter, and He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews when possible. He was a member of the Poplar Bluff wrestling and football teams

Eric is survived by his Mother Nina L Steward, brothers Steven W Steward (Melinda) and Matthew Steward (Nancy). With his nephews Rex Steward, Thomas Steward, Christopher Steward, Glen King, Ryan Hardin, and Sean Hardin. Nieces Elizabeth Light, Cierra Smith and Heather Harris, and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Eric was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Everett and Muriel Steward, maternal grandparents Marion Mabel Fusilier, Father Steven E Steward and his sister Lori Hardin.

Visitation will be at Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine Street, on 09-04-2026 at 11:00am

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 with the burial after, at 1:00.
