Evelyn Joyce Shulse

Evelyn Joyce Shulse, 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 18, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Evelyn was born on August 29, 1940, to Raymond and Annabell (Patton) Courts in Montgomery, Ohio. She married Jim Shulse, he preceded her in death.

Evelyn was a faithful servant of God who enjoyed worshiping with her congregation. She was a loving and giving mother.   She enjoyed antiques and restoring old furniture, reflecting her beauty of bringing new life to damaged things.  

Evelyn is survived by children, Gene (Pam) Shulse, Allen Shulse, Krista (Shang) Shumate, grandchildren, Laura Squres, Kristen Coomer, Tyler Shulse, Neely Escue, Nolan Shumate, Kinsley Shumate, Great grandchildren, Luke Squires, Maxwell Squires, Courtland Jones, and Natalie Coomer.

Evelyn was preceded in death by Husband, Jim Shulse, parents, daughter, Julie Harkey, siblings, Jerry Courts, Liz Mount, Geneva Jones and Judy Thomas.
