Thomas Everett Huggins, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 27, 2024, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Everett was born on April 5, 1942, to Thomas and Mary (Stroud) Huggins in Rombauer, Missouri.  He married Violet (Mohr) on March 25,1961.  She survives. Everett attended school in Qulin, Mo.  He was a member of Little Brown General Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.  In his lifetime, he was a real estate agent, insurance agent, a retired factory supervisor and since retirement he has served as an election worker at county elections.  His greatest joy was studying/reading the Bible and teaching Sunday School. Everett is survived by spouse, Violet Huggins, son, Gary Huggins (Debbie), daughter, Donna Huggins, daughter, Karen Barr, son, Keith Huggins (Mindy), 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sisters, Claudia Pyles and Lavella Young, brother, Leroy Huggins. Everett was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Albert and Deon Huggins, sisters; June Craft, Glenda Honeysuckle, and Arbadella Kendall. Visitation will be held on July 1, 2024, from 11am-12pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will follow at 12pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Durham officiating. Burial will take place at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO
