Florence Ellen Bacon

Florence Ellen Bacon passed away April 11, 2011, at the age of 85. She was born August 5, 1925 in Ellsinore, Mo. to parents, Charles Greensfelder and Delia "Ambrose" Greensfelder. She was married to Francis Gene Bacon in St. Petersburg, Florida. Surviving is one son Larry Bacon of Williamsville, Missouri. She was an accomplished artist and also loved wood carving. She was a sound Tech for recordings and attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 60 years. Florence was a member of St. Francis DeSales for 25 years and retired from Gates Rubber Co. Ms. Bacon is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation at 9 a.m., Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff, Mo. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiated by Father David Coon. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
