Floyd R. Bob Gunter

Floyd (Bob) Gunter, 64 of Fairdealing, Missouri , passed away December 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1950 in Ripley County, Missouri to the late Floyd Gunter, and Dorothy Dudley Gunter. He is survived by his children, Bobby Gunter of Sikeston, Mo, Karolyn Gunter of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Michelle Cissell of Waterloo, Ill.. Seven Sisters, Mary Ward of Oxly, Mo., Susan Purvis of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Alice Friar of Doniphan, Mo., Sally Friar of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Karla Geddes of Charolette N. C., Elfia Pruett of Elberta, Alabama, Anita Hinkle of Doniphan, Mo.. Three brothers, Rolland Gunter of Doniphan, Mo., Wade Gunter of Fairdealing and Vernon Gunter of Ellington, Mo.. He is also survived by two grandsons; Cody and Corey. A special friend and companion Karen Fish also survives. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister, Bonnie Terry and two brothers, Edward Terry and Daniel Gunter. Mr. Gunter had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era where he had received 5 medals for his service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on guns and his 65 mustang car. Visitation for Mr. Gunter will Monday December 22, 2014 starting at 11:00 am in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. The funeral will be at 12:00 pm Monday December 22, 2014. Burial Will be in the Springhill Cemetery near Fairdealing, Missouri.
