Floyd Daves

Floyd Lonzo Daves, 94, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 02, 2021 at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Floyd was born on August 12, 1926 to the late John and Rosie ( Barker) Daves in Kime, Missouri.  He married Lorene (Wills) Daves on February 8, 1947, in Piggott AR. She preceded him in death July 3, 2014. Floyd enjoyed deer hunting, spending time with family especially grand and great grand children, he also enjoyed attending Temple Baptist Church. Floyd was also  veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II. Floyd is survived by daughter, Connie (Milford) Maddox son, Randy(Mary Ellen) Daves grandchildren Travis(Stephanie) Maddox, Ryan (Michelle) Maddox, Todd (Jessica) Daves, Daniel (Krystle) Daves, great grandchildren, Hunter Maddox, Hailey Maddox, Madi Maddox, Maverick Maddox, Mercy Daves, Makaylynn Daves, Kaydence Hart-Daves, Landon Hart, Natalie Daves, sisters: Leona Hicks, Lois Gramlich, brothers: Lawrence C'huck D'aves and Lavern Daves. Floyd was preceded in death by wife, Lorene and brother: Lloyd Daves. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 4th  from 10 AM to 11 AM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Thursday March 4th 11am at Fowler -Sullivan  in the chapel with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with full military honors.
