Frankie Dale Rigdon, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away November 30, 2012, at his residence. He was born June 15, 1951 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. to Euwin Rigdon and Billie Jean McKay.
He is survived by two sons, Frankie Eugene Rigdon of Poplar Bluff, Mo and Mark Lynn Rigdon and wife, Angie of Naylor, Mo.; one daughter, Billie Jean Douglas and husband, Julius of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Mary Lou Blissenbach, of Pocahontas, Ark. and one brother, Phil Rigdon of Corning, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, Timmy Lee Stallings, Taylor Marie Stallings, Brittany Nichole Corder, Steve Allen Corder Jr., Darcacie Rehan Rigdon, Genah Diane Rigdon, Frankie Roman Eudale Rigdon, Owen James Rigdon, Marcus Blake Rigdon Chelsa Rigdon, and Matthew Austin Rigdon.
On March 17, 1972, at Naylor, Missouri, he was married to Alice Webster. She preceded him in death on June 4, 2005.
He was a member of the Mt Calvary Power House Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He had formaly lived in Naylor, where he had served on the Naylor City Council and as Alderman. He was a first responder for the Naylor Fire Department and had done volunteer work for the Naylor community. He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
He enjoyed fishing, lawn care, playing pool and hunting. He also enjoyed coaching his children and grandchildren in softball and little league.
Visitation for Frank will be Monday December 3, 2012, starting at 11:00 am, with the funeral following at 1:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Bishop Ron Webb will be officiating with the burial in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following service.
