Fred Davis

Kenneth F. "Fred" Davis, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at his home. Mr. Davis was born August 31, 1934, in Lamar, Ark. He was of the Baptist faith. On April 16, 1965, he married Nora Esta (Lade) Davis in Corning, Ark. She survives. Other survivors include his four children, Kenneth D. Davis and wife, Pat, Dennis G., Davis, Margaret Tipton and husband, Robert, and Patty Fuller and husband, John; four sister, Joyce Trevillion, Jo Kinsman, Ruth Overton and Eda Dewitt; nine grandchildren, Dawn Wahby, Jason Owens, Rebecca Simpson (Rodney), Jennifer Voss (Steve), Cynthia Davis, Mercedez Ice, Robert Ice III, Addison Fuller, and Kendall Fuller and seven great-grandchildren, Honnah Wahby, Nicholas Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Kaylin Jackson, Dane Voss, Lathan Alcorn and Alexis Alcorn. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Davis and Estella Margaret Catt) Davis; a son, Kenneth F. Davis II; and four brothers, James, Karl, Charles and Dean Davis. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Rev. Bill Orr officiating.
