George Eugene Worley

George Eugene Worley, 87, of Centralia, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Fulton Nursing and Rehab Center in Fulton, Missouri. He was born August 15, 1924, at Lone Hill, Mo. to the late Clarence Edward Worley and Agnes Tubb Worley. On November 2, 1946, He was married to Wilma Josephine Davis at Corning, Arkansas. She survives. Also surviving are three Sons, George Edward Worley of Fulton, Mo., Robert Wayne Worley of Columbia, Mo., and James Leland Worley of Long Lane, Mo.; two daughters, Wilma Lorene Worley Drexler of Orlando, Florida and Brenda Elaine Worley Waite of Cairo, Mo.; four sisters, Alma Hesselink of Sparta, Michigan, Mary Sue Bostic of Pollard, Ark. Darlene Smith of Poplar bluff, Mo.; and Charlene Collier of Neelyville, Missouri and three brothers, Joseph Worley of Sparta, Michigan, Dennis Worley of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Sammy Worley of Corning, Ark. Fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Columbia, Missouri. He was uion carpenter and worked in both homea nd commerical construcction. He had dato retire from carpentry due to health reasons. He enjoued puzzles, singing gospel music and love animals and his carpentry work. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Edward Worley, his mother Agnes Tubb Worley and step mother Irene Fowler Worley and one brother, Edward Worley. Visitation for George will begin at 6:00 p.m. March 12, 2012 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri with funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burialwill be in the Cochran Cemetery. Pastor James Sample officiating.
