Georgia Mae Mckinney

Georgia Mae McKinney, 79, of New Madrid, Mo.,passed away January 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 14, 1933 at Reyno, Arkansas. On October 21, 1950, at MoArk, Arkansas She was married to Rev. Orvil McKinney. He survives. Also surviving, one son Zip McKinney and wife Sandy of New Madrid, Missouri, Three grandchildren; Misty, Holly and Justin as well as four great grandchildren; Makenzie, Chandler, Molly and Anna Bell. She and her husband had pastor in Naylor, Mo., Cahokia, Ill. and Cape Girardeau, Mo. and then at New Madrid. Mo. where they pastored the New Madrid United Pentecostal Church until retirement. She was devoted to the church and as a pastor wife. She was member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Sister McKinney enjoyed crocheting, spending time and reading to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. McKinney will be Tuesday night January 15, 2013 in the New Madrid United Pentecostal Church starting at 5:00 pm with the funeral Wednesday January 16, 2013 starting at 2:00p.m. in the church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid. Rev. G.L. Keene officiating.
