Gertrude Marguerite Dillinger, 80, of Dexter, Mo., passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Home in Dexter, Mo.
Mrs. Dillinger was born June 9, 1933, at Dudley, Mo, where she spent most of her life before moving to Dexter.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, growing flowers and feeding birds and was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
She married Carl Freddie Dillinger on September 23, 1950, in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1999.
Survivors include five daughters, Sharlette Kirkman (David) of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Belinda Hribovsek (Bill) of Dexter, Arlessa Russell (Kenneth) of Dudley, Lora Sissum (David) of Dexter and Catherine Rider (Bruce) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one son, Carl Dillinger Jr. (Cona) of Wappapello, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Obie Hale and Henrietta Louise Hale and four sisters.
A GRAVESIDE service will begin at 10am Monday, June 9, 2014 in Dudley Cemetery with Travis Quertermous officiating.
