Gertrude "Marie" Greene, 78, of Poplar Bluff, went to be with her LORD and Saviour May 22, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO Mrs. Greene was born June 22, 1934 in Butler County, MO She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and going to Church. She was married to Glynn Greene July 14, 1997. He preceded her in death May 28, 2005. Mrs. Greene is survived by four children; Dennis Richmond, Bernice "Cookie" Bradley, Standley Richmond, and wife Kimberly and Roger Richmond and wife Martha; 6 sisters; Mary LaFond and husband Stan, Lana McElwrath and husband Bobby; Barbara Foster and husband Alvin; Linda Hampton, Judy Parsons, and Naideen Goodale and husband John; one brother; Karl Parsons and wife Judi; 7 grandchildren; Danny Richmond, Angela Pierce, Jimmy Bradley, Crystal Richmond, Kevin Richmond, Joe Richmond and Brianna Bond and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by husband Glynn Greene; parents; Victor and Bertie Parsons; 4 brothers; Donald Parsons, Archie Parsons, Leonard Parsons and Jerry Parsons; 2 grandchildren; Kevin Bradley and Tony Richmond; 2 great-grandchildren; Abiella Richmond and Brittney Pierce Visitation will be 7 PM Friday, May 24, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff. Funeral will be 2PM Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Darrell Friday officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery in Ripley County.
