Gilford Hamilton

Gilford Hamilton, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on December 18, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff with his family around him, and took his journey to heaven. Gilford was born on October 9, 1936 to the late Worth and Elsie (Hardin) Hamilton in Tennessee.  He married Shirley Hamilton on June 27, 1957 in Hayti, MO.  She preceded him in death May 20, 2020. Gilford loved hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, going to auctions, flea marketing and general tinkering with things. Gilford is survived by daughters:  Vicki Wooten and husband Tommy, Janice Hamilton, Brenda Condray, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Gilford was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hamilton, parents, sisters:  Magdalene Fourcault, Ruby Fourcault, Linda Gilley and Elaine Harrell, brother: W. E. Hamilton The family has no public services planned per Mr. Hamilton's wishes.  The family does request memorials to St. Judes Children's Hospital. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff are entrusted with arrangements.
