Glenda Kay (Vineyard) Kirby

Glenda Kay Kirby, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on December 23, 2024, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff. Glenda was born on July 27, 1949, to J D Vineyard and Verna (Warren) Stephens in St. Louis, Missouri.  She married Lonnie Kirby November 27,1969, and he preceded her in death. Glenda loved to paint, crochet, go to flea markets and yard sales, collect tea cups, gardening and enjoyed time with her great grandchildren.  She loved being the life of the party. Glenda is survived by children, Austin (Kristy) Kirby; John (Chrissy) Kirby, grandchildren, Brooke (Jake) Hein; Morgan (Rustin) Stucker-Phelan; Connor Kirby; Ethan Pollard, and 4 great grandchildren Lucas, Jace, Amelia and Rhett, sister, Virginia "Susie"(Ralph) Summer; sister-in-law, Iva Heil. Glenda was preceded in death by husband, Lonnie Kirby, father, J D. Vineyard, mother, Verna Stephens and brother John Vineyard. Graveside services will be held on January 3, 2024, 2pm at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
