Gordie Lois White

Gordie Lois White, 98, passed away, Dec. 3, 2010 in Peyton, Colorado. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday Dec. 10, 2010 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff-844 Cedar St. Funeral services will be Sat. Dec. 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Featherston officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. Mr. White was born April 15, 1912 in Lodi, MO He was retired from Florsheim Shoe Company, in Poplar Blff. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Westside Church of God, Poplar Bluff. On March 1, 1935 he married Ruby M. Robinson White in Craighead County Arkansas. She preceded him in death on March 23, 1986. Mr. White is survived by two children, Judy Phillips and husband, Rich, of Peyton, Co. and Robert White and wife Judy, of St. Louis; one brother, Curtis "Mike" White of Linn Creek, Mo.; three grandchildren, Debbie Johnson, Kimberly Hartman and Kevin Vinson; four great-grandchildren Ashley and Myranda Johnson; Ruby and Evan Hartman. Mr. White was preceded in death byhis parents Lebious Wesley White and Virgie Susan "Susie" Harris; and two sisters; Rachel Cross and Gladys Roy
