Rev. Harold Leroy Allbritton

Rev. Harold Leroy Allbritton, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and former resident of Bernie, passed away Wednesday January 16, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Allbritton was born September 7, 1931 in Bernie, Mo. to the late William Franklin Allbritton and Octa (Clubb) Allbritton. Mr. Allbritton was an ordained General Baptist Minister and had pastored many churches in the area. He was a member of White Hollow General Baptist Church in Clubb, Mo. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. On January 8, 1951 he married Ethel (Henthorn) Allbritton, who survives. Other survivors include his children, Darwin Allbritton and wife, Kathy of Jonesboro, Ark., Delores Hill and husband, Larry of Poplar Bluff, Linda Hall and husband, Gary of Poplar Bluff, Dewayne Allbritton and wife, Debbie of Piedmont, Mo., Lisa Young and husband, Jeff of Valley Park, Mo.,Steven Allbritton and wife, Karen of Lowndes, Mo.,William Allbritton and wife, Michelle of Jonesboro, Ark., John Allbritton,of Poplar Bluff, and Debra Hendrix and husband, Kevin of Doniphan; two sisters, Edna Prince and Betty Scott, both of Poplar Bluff; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death are two sons, Teddy Allbritton and Michael Allbritton and one brother, Eugene Allbritton. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, followed by the funeral services at 2 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. with the Rev. Allen Leutert officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tracy Allbritton in care of Steve Allbritton, HCR 2, Box 4630, Lowndes, Mo.
