Hazel Shawver

Hazel Katherine Shawver age 89, of Poplar Bluff passed away on March 27, 2021 in Poplar Bluff. She was born on November 20, 1931 in Perth, Kansas. To the late Asa and Georgie Wineinger. On August 8, 1950 she was married to Bill Leroy Shawver, he preceded her on death in April 2007. Hazel was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation in Poplar Bluff. Surviving is her daughter, Michele Houglin; grandchildren, Stephanie Cooper, Chandre Pena, Andrea Murray, Kandi Hockett, William Shawver, Tabatha Leal, Justin Houglin, Alissa Boardman, Layla Houglin; great-grandchildren, Sabrina Aliyah, Olivia, Alex, Kara, Jake, Katy, Kailee, Leland, Liah ,Mia, Avery, Quinn, Camyrn, Issac; two great-grandchildren on the way; two brothers, Ben and Nolan Wineinger. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael and her daughter, Linda; by three brothers, Paul, Leslie, Harold Wineinger; one sister, Dorothy Hale also preceded her in death.
