Helen (Wright) Dever

Helen Marie (Wright) Dever, 64, of Poplar Bluff, MO entered her heavenly home on January 26, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri after fighting a short but fierce battle with cancer.

Helen was born on October 25, 1958, to Herman and Imogene (Shelton) Wright in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She married Wayne Dever on June 24, 2012.

Helen enjoyed reading her Bible, socializing, going to yard sales with her sister and traveling. She was a member of Pentecost Community Church of Ellsinore.

Helen is survived by spouse, Wayne Dever, son, Derek Kneir and wife Dortha, granddaughter, Danica Kneir, and sister, Barbara Sue Summerfield.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, David Brame, Beverly Albright, Sharon Cannell, Kenny Wright, Mary Stovall and Eddie Wright.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30th, 2023, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home chapel with James Huffman officiating. Burial will take place at Eastwood Cemetery.
