Henrietta Griffin

Henrietta Griffin, 82 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri past away Sunday, September 27th, 2026 at Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Henrietta was born May 26th, 1944, in Fisk Missouri to the late John Henry and Iva May (Bryant) Haislip

Henrietta was married to Cecil Walter Griffin on June 3, 1967. They lived in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, St, Charles, Illinois, and the in Poplar Bluff Missouri.

Henrietta loved hummingbirds, gardening, fishing, flowers, crossword puzzles, and her family. In 2008, Henrietta had a bad stroke which she never fully recovered from. Cecil took care of her until he passed in August 20,2024.

Henrietta is survived by her two children, Rodney Griffin ( Racheal) and Lavonda Hansen (Duke). Her grandchildren, Curtis Hansen ( Brook), Garret Griffin, Jacquilynn Griffin (Steve Ferrill), Jessep Griffin (Jessica), Julia McSwain (Robert 'Shine'), Dixie and Dyllan Kelly. 6 great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Nolan Dennis, Ivy McSwain, Micah Hansen Hadley and Jamie Ferrill, with 2 more on the way, Olive McSwain and Layton Hansen. Two siblings, Carl Haislip of Naylor and Donna Stroebel (Eric) of Hannibal, Missouri.

Henrietta is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Griffin, and 4 siblings: Marie Brown, Ervin Haislip, Linda Cornett and Debra Moore.

Henrietta was a founding member of True Gospel Church, she was a prayer warrior and a woman of faith.
