Henry Alvin Cox

Henry Alvin Cox, 89 of Naylor, Missouri passed away August 14, 2011 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born July 26, 1922 at Mt. Home, Arkansas, to the late John Francis Cox and Zora Mandary Sinor Cox. On May 21, 1943 at Paragould, Arkansas. He was married to Frances Evelyn Barnett. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1990. He is survived by two children, Larry Ray and wife Linda Cox of Mulkeytown, Ill. and Deloris and husband Jerry Price of Success, Arkansas. Five grandchildren, Matt and wife Jenny Cox, Kenny Price and wife Cindy and Gretchen Yates. Five great grandchildren, Alex Price, Felicia Yates, William Yates , Zaylee Cox and Ava Cox. Three Sisters; Frances Haney, Dorothy Huckabee and Lillie Cato. and three brothers; Burley Cox , Crawford Cox and Johnny Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents . wife and three sisters Janelle Miller, Annabelle Creviston and Tilda Foster as well as five brothers; Williford Cox, Cleve Cox. Woodrow Cox, Riley Cox and Bennie Cox. Mr Cox was a farmer and enjoyed his mules, Cattle and Goats. Visitation will be Wed. August 17, 2011 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel starting at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in the Arnold Cemetery near Fairdealing, Missouri. Gretchen Yates will officiate.
