Herbert Manes

Herbert Manes, 81, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 10, 2020 at Cedargate Nursing Facility in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Herbert was born on December 22, 1938 to the late Roscoe and Ruby (Smith) Manes in Blytheville, Arkansas.  He married Nancie Manes on December 29,1986 in Bernie, Mo Herbert enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren. Herbert is survived by children: Kelly St. Lawrence and husband Daniel of Poplar Bluff, Jack Manes and wife Nora of Malden, Mo, Cathy Leininger and husband Gene of Eager, AZ, Kevin Manes and special friend Kathy of Malden, Mo; grandchildren: Joshua Foster and wife Jennifer, Ashley Bader and special friend Mark Ringwald, Jessica St. Lawrence, Jessica McCain, Tracy Manes, Josh Marion, Jason Leininger and wife Lindsey, Elizabeth Leininger, Christina Booth and husband David, Shaleen Dayton; great-grandchildren: Mellissa, Kelsi, Raelyn, Morrigan, Gwynavere, Liam, David, Brian, Briana, Oliver and Nicholas; siblings: Estell Cook and husband Frank, Paullien Chase and husband Steve, Ben Manes, Gordon Manes, Danny Manes and wife Barbara, Charles Manes and wife Pat and many special friends. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nancie, sister, Willie Cook, brothers: James and Jackie Manes, grandchildren: Sarah Booth and Brandie. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020  from 1 pm to 2 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. The service will begin at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gregory Kirk officiating.
