James C. Earl of St. Louis, Mo. passed away May, 25, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St Louis. He was 35.
Visitation for Mr. Earl will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, followed by the funeral service at 12 noon in the chapel. The Rev. Roy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the City Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mr. Earl was born March 29, 1976, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He had formerly lived in Denver, Colorado and Poplar Bluff and Butler County for 10 years. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked at Rowe Furniture. He enjoyed cutting hair, music, art, playing the drums and was a rapper.
Surviving are his children, JaVonye Earl, Dewayne Earl and Jocelyn Domingbe, all of St. Louis; the mother of his children, Nancy Rucker; his mother, Marry J. Earl Pitts of St. Louis; his step-father, Barry Harvin of St. Louis; a sister, Shelia Wallace of Poplar Bluff; five brothers, Jerome Webb, Carlos Wallace and Lawrence Mann, all of Poplar Bluff, Steven Wayne Arrington of St. Louis and Virgil Brown of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wallace on June 10, 2008; his stepmother, Margaret Wallace on February 25, 2011; and a sister, Sonja Wallace.
