James Robert Lane

James Robert Lane, 58, of Oxly, Missouri passed away August 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1955, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late James Elbert Lane and Minerva Elizabeth Craft Lane. on July 22, 1977 at Oxly, Missouri He was married to Wanda Sue Brooks. She survives. Also surviving, one Son, Robert "Rob" Lane of Oxly, Missouri. One sister, Brenda Soencer of Doniphan, Missouri, three brothers, Gary Lane of Fairdealing, Missouri, Rick Lane and wife Michell of Oxly, Missouri and Terry Lane and wife Patricia of Silva, Missouri. Several Nieces also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Elbert Lane on January 26, 1993 and Minerva Lane on July 5, 2004. James was the owner/operator of Lane's Concrete Service. He enjoyed coaching summer league baseball, coaching pee wee softball at Naylor, working with Naylor School Booster Club, hunting, fishing and being with his family. Having been a life long resident of the area, James will be greatly missed by his family as well as many friends. Visitation for James will be Monday August 5, 2013 in Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel starting at 11:00 am with the funeral folowing at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will be in the Berger Cemetery at Ogelsville, Missouri with Rick Holden officiating.
