James Moore

James Edward Moore, 87, of Naylor, Mo., passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Moore was born Oct. 18, 1928 in Pocahontas, Ar. He moved to Ripley County area in 1974. On March 21, 1951, Mr. Moore Married Fern Redus Moore, who survives, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his bees. he was a Army Veteran during the Korean War. Also surviving are children; Alan Scott Moore and wife Sarabeth of Jackson, Mo., Steven Edward Moore and wife Cristy of Doniphan, Mo., and Sharon (Moore) Sigmon and husband Don of Bethel, Alaska; sisters, Velma (Moore) Byrd of Pine, Mo., and Carolyn (Moore)Sanders of Doniphan, Mo.; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by parents, Henry Clarence Moore and Elsie Avery Moore and brother Clifford Moore. Funeral services took place on March 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
