James C. White, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at his home.
Mr. White was born in Savannah, Tn. on January 21, 1938 to the late Carl and Lois (Barrier) White. He was an electrical contractor and enjoyed hunting, fishing, game roosters, poker and bingo.
On February 16, 1963, he married Shirley (Ogden) White in Hayti, Mo, whom survives.
Other survivors include his children, James "PeeWee" and Tracy White, Greg and Janea White and Teresa White; three sisters, Hazel Grubbs, Vertie Eppoleto and Betty Myers; one brother, Joe White; five grandchildren, Steve, Shelly, Brandon, and Jaime White and Ronnie Porter; as well as four great-grandchildren.
Mr. White is also preceded in death by one brother, Ed White.
Visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
