Jamie Taylor Fredwell

Jamie Taylor Fredwell, 57, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 25, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Jamie was born on January 14, 1969, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. On June 17, 2006, he married the love of his life, Rebecca Eason, at First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. They began a marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished family memories.

Jamie believed there was nothing more important than spending time with those he loved. Whether everyone was gathered around the table enjoying one of his home-cooked meals, attending a car show, or cheering on his beloved St. Louis Cardinals, he treasured every moment shared with family and friends. He had a generous heart, a passion for cooking, and a way of making people feel welcome wherever he was. Jamie retired after 25 years of OTR truck driving.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Rebecca Fredwell; his children, Matthew Fredwell, Trevin Eason, Nicole Eason, Jaylee Eason, and Music Eason; and his bonus grandchildren, Madi, Maci, and Maylee Isaac. Also survived by his mother-in-law Jackie Robison (Dennis), father-in-law Mark Eason (Marilyn) and his lifelong best friend JC Dicken (Christy).

Jamie was preceded in death by his father; Robert "Bob" Fredwell; his brother, Bert Fredwell; his sister-in-law, Sara Fredwell; and his sister; Mindy Marshburn.

Services will be at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. in Poplar Bluff. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June27, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm in the chapel with Rev. Shawn Stricklin officiating.   Burial will take place at Montgomery Cemetery in Butler County.
