Janice Lou Moore, 66, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Moore was born July 22, 1949 in St. Louis, Mo. to the late Bennie and Mary (Edwards) Moore.
She was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church. She had worked as a dietary aide at Lucy Lee Hospital for 27 years and Odell Cleaners for 10 years. She enjoyed her dog "Baby", collecting birds and playing computer games.
Ms. Moore is survived by her sisters, Margie Bostic of Dexter, Mo, Bernice Pickard and Martha Burns, both of Poplar Bluff; brothers, Bennie Moore of Poplar Bluff, Jackie Wayne Moore of Zalma, Mo, and Macklin J. Moore of Poplar Bluff; two nieces, Angie Schmidt of Taylor, TX and Melissa Burns of Poplar Bluff, as well as one nephew, Nick Moore of McBain, Michigan and great nieces and nephew, Haley Schmidt, Kyle Schmidt and Adina Burns and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Andy Pickard and Michael Burns.
There will be a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at New Life Tabernacle, 603 Victor St. Poplar Bluff, Mo with Rev. Larry Sanders officiating and a private burial will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Zalma, Mo.
